Dear Glampers,

 

We are thrilled that you will be joining us soon and we hope you are going to love glamping as much as we do!

Before you get here:

If you haven’t done it already, all guests must read and fill out the following digital Liability Waiver

( www.tidesandtimberglamping.com/liabilitywaiver ) prior to check-in.

How to get here:

Tides & Timber Glamping is located at 2892 Route 127, Bayside, NB, E5B2T5. When you approach the location on HWY 127. Look for this sign from the road.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the past months our neighbours have also opened a glamping resort and they have erected a similar road sign. Our sign is a beige/pink colour, with a dark green outline and has our name Tides & Timber Glamping on it.

 

Check-in and check-out:

Check in time is 4:00 PM.

Once you enter our driveway follow the sign to the guest parking lot, where we kindly ask you to leave your vehicle.

We have provided a little wagon to assist you in carrying your bags to your dome. Once you are done, please return it to the parking lot so that the other guests can use it.  

To reach your dome follow the signs by the parking lot, you will have a short but somewhat steep walk downhill.  Your dome key will be waiting inside on the bedside table.

Check-out is at 11 AM. We ask you to please lock your dome and leave your key on the 'KEY RETURN' in the parking lot.

 

What we provide:

Each dome has two queen size beds, one bed is located on the main floor, and one is on top of a loft reachable by ladder. The dome also comes with a private bathroom, a BBQ, an indoor and outdoor table with chairs, a hot tub, WI-FI and a private fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Duvet, linen and towels are provided and we also provide outdoor blankets. All domes have a kitchenette, with a mid-size fridge, induction plugin stove, microwave, crockery, a few pots and a pan, a Keurig coffee maker (with some coffee pods), a French press and a manual milk frother. The kitchenette also includes a few spices for cooking (Italian mix, chilly flakes and rosemary, salt and pepper, sugar), Keurig coffe pods and tea bags. 

We have hot and cold water and our water is filtered and softened. 

Our guests have access to the Waweig River via a trail that takes you to our ‘beach’, Kayaks are available for our guests at no cost as long as the temperature is above 10 degrees Celsius.

We provide a dog bed but no pet dishware, if you prefer to bring your own dog bed let us know. 

 

 

 

Don't forget to bring:

 

Food and drinks, if you need groceries the closest stores are in St. Andrews and St. Stephen. 

During winter, spring, summer and fall we recommend packing the following items to ensure maximum comfort:

  • A warm sweater, a warm jacket and warm socks, think staying comfortable while spending time outdoors in Canada.

  • A pair of slippers, our floors are insulated, however, they still feel cold during when the temperatures dip.

  • A pair of rainboots, especially if rain or snow are expected.

  • Water shoes if you plan to explore our river.

  • A bathing suit, we have a hot tub on each deck.

  • Are you a person that runs cold? If you are, we encourage you to bring your own coziest blanket.

Heating and cooling of the domes:

We cool and heat our domes with a heat pump and a baseboard heater in the bathroom, we also have provided an additional space heater for the nights it's needed.

Our domes are insulated, however they can get still get cold during the night and fairly hot during the day, we recommend closing the curtains during warmer days.

Visiting Kingsbrae Gardens is our favourite activity in St. Andrews, hence we are very excited to announce that we have partnered with Kingsbrae Garden to offer 25% off your entry to the gardens. The discount is valid only during your stay at Tides & Timber Glamping. To obtain the discount simply show your room key at the time of purchase.
