  • What is the minimum stay requirement?
    Our typical minimum stay is two nights, allowing guests to fully enjoy the glamping experience and take advantage of the amenities and activities at our unique waterfront location. However, during the shoulder season, we do offer single-night stays from Sunday to Thursday, and occasionally open up one-night gaps between bookings in the summer. These shorter stays are usually advertised on our social media channels, so be sure to follow us for updates! Whether you're planning a weekend escape or a longer retreat, we're committed to providing a comfortable and memorable experience for all our guests.
  • Q: What is Tides & Timber's booking and cancellation policy?
    At Tides & Timber Glamping, we strive to make your booking experience seamless while offering you flexibility. To secure your reservation, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. This deposit is fully refundable up to two weeks before your scheduled stay. The remaining balance of 50% is due five days prior to your arrival date. Please note that once this final payment is made, no further refunds are issued. *If you have booked with us prior than June 14th 2025 please contact us to cancel your booking and to know your options.
  • Do you have a cancellation list?
    Yes, we do! If you find that the dates you are interested in are fully booked, you can email us at admin@tidesandtimberglamping.com to request to be added to our cancellation list. If a spot becomes available due to a cancellation, we will notify you as soon as possible, giving you the opportunity to secure the dates you desire.
  • How do I pay for my reservation?
    At Tides & Timber Glamping, we aim to make your glamping experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible. To secure your reservation, we accept credit cards and require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due five days prior to your arrival and will be automatically collected from the same credit card.
  • Do you offer any discount for extended stays?
    We offer a fixed rate of $1,750 for a week-long stay, providing great value for an extended getaway at Tides & Timber Glamping.
  • What is included with my stay?
    Each dome includes the following private amenities: Two queen size beds (one on the main floor and one on top of a loft reachable by ladder) Kitchenette with all of the necessities to cook a meal (no oven) Three-piece bathroom Towels, linens, bathrobes, outdoor blankets Small dining table with four chairs BBQ Hot tub Fire pit with chairs and firewood An outdoor bistro table with two chairs Each guest also has access to the following shared amenities at no extra cost: Kayaks, canoe and paddle board with life jackets Private access to the river Fire pit area by the river Small library with free books and magazines Garden area with some lawn games and chairs Private parking lot
  • How many people are allowed per dome at Tides & Timber Glamping?
    We allow up to two adults and two children per dome. We believe in creating a family-friendly environment where everyone can enjoy the beauty of nature while staying comfortably in our domes.   • Are the domes all the same?
    The layout of the interior of each dome is the same, some of the interior colours and some of the furnishing are different. Each dome has the same amenities included. Each dome is located on different spot throughout the resort. Here are the highlights of each dome: Dome 1- Humpback Whale: has the most private fire pit area, it's close to the garden game area and it's close to the road to the beach, it's pet friendly. Dome 2- Minke Whale: has a partial view of the water, it's very close to the garden game area and a few second away from the road to the beach. Dome 3- Right Whale (pet friendly): has a good view of the river even in summer, it's pet friendly. Dome 4- Finback Whale: it's the closest dome to the parking lot and most suited for people that have a hard time walking up and down a hill, it has a solid view of the water and it is nested above dome three.
  • How far apart are the domes at Tides & Timber Glamping?
    At Tides & Timber Glamping, the domes are about 50-60 feet apart. The design of the space ensures that guests have both privacy with a sense of seclusion while still being within close proximity to the amenities and shared spaces.
  • Can you hear the outside while staying inside a dome?
    While our domes are made of thick plastic and have a cotton liner, there is no real way to soundproof them. As a result, sound can travel from the outside to the inside of the dome and vice versa. While we strive to provide a peaceful and relaxing experience for our guests, please keep in mind that the domes are located in natural environments where sounds from wildlife and other guests may be audible.
  • How are the domes heated and cooled?
    Each dome is equipped with a heat pump, ensuring a comfortable temperature year-round. For colder nights, we also provide a plug-in heater to ensure that our guests remain cozy and warm during their stay.
  • Are you open during the winter season?
    Tides & Timber Glamping is open for bookings between April 1st and November 5th. At this time, we are not open during the winter season, but we look forward to welcoming guests during our regular operating season. If you have any questions or would like to plan your stay with us, feel free to reach out to our team for assistance.
  • What are the check-in and check-out times?
    At Tides & Timber Glamping, check-in starts at 4 pm and check out is at 11 am. We kindly ask our guests to adhere to these times to ensure the smooth turnover of accommodations for the next guests. If you need to arrange a different check-in or check-out time, please contact our team in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. We aim to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for all of our guests, and we appreciate your cooperation.
  • Is it possible to drive a vehicle down to the domes?
    No, vehicles are not allowed down to the domes. The road down to the domes is quite narrow and steep, which is why, for the safety of our guests, no cars are allowed past the parking lot. However, if you need assistance getting to your dome, we can certainly help you. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us in advance so we can make necessary arrangements.
  • Can I bring my pet/s to Tides & Timber Glamping?
    Yes! we are happy to accommodate your furry friend/s at Tides & Timber Glamp. We have two pet-friendly domes, Dome 1: Humpback Whale and Dome 3: Right Whale. We allow up to two dogs per dome. When you proceed to check out, please add your pet fee. If you are bringing two dogs, please add two pet fees. All dogs must be house trained, up to date with vaccinations and be at least 6 months old. We want to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for all our guests, human and canine alike.
  • What is the smoking policy?
    Smoking is not allowed inside the domes or while in the hot tub. However, guests are permitted to smoke in designated areas such as the fire pit areas and the parking lot, where sand buckets are provided for the safe disposal of cigarettes. We kindly ask that guests adhere to this policy and be considerate of other guests and the natural environment during their stay with us.
  • Are children allowed to stay in the domes?
    Yes, children are welcome to stay in our domes! We allow up to two children per dome. If you're planning to bring more, please contact us in advance. When booking, kindly mention the number of children in the notes section. We recommend that families closely supervise their little ones to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.
  • Does Tides & Timber Glamping offer Wi-Fi for guests?
    Yes, we provide Wi-Fi and it is included in the price. We understand the importance of staying connected, even in a natural and tranquil setting. Our goal is to offer our guests the best of both worlds – the opportunity to unplug and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, while staying connected with loved ones, working remotely if necessary, or simply stream their favorite shows or music during their stay.
  • Do you provide linens and towels?
    es, hotel-quality linens and towels are included with your stay for your comfort and convenience.
  • Where is the closest supermarket/liquor store?
    The closest supermarket and liquor store are located in St. Andrews, which is approximately a 12-minute drive from our resort. Additionally, there is another supermarket and liquor store in St. Stephen, just a 15-minute drive away.
  • Are there hiking trails or water activities nearby?
    Yes! We have a small loop trail right on the property—perfect for a peaceful walk through the woods. For more adventurous hikes, there are several beautiful trails nearby, including: Simpson Hill Wilderness Trail (2 min away) – Stunning views of the Bay Minister’s Island Nature Trails (15 min away) – Coastal walks with history and ocean views Curry Mountain Trail (8 min away) – Forest hike with river overlooks. Caughey- Taylor Galleries (15 mins away)- 240 hectares (600 acres) of marshland and forest
